He was a very affectionate cat and purred if you so much as stared at him. Happened to catch this sound one night while alone at home with the cat. I had a little job which involved a cat drinking. . But first i had to record the bowl being put down. . . I placed the bowl down a few times - captured with correct room sound required. . To my amazement my cat decided to do somethign useful and actually came up to the bowl and started drinking the water. . . . . . Unfortunately i wasnt close mic'd - but my little booth is pretty quiet. . . . It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney".
